
Rare Disease Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter referred to as "RDHK") received resignation applications from Mr. Tsang Kin-ping and Mr. Leung Chat-kan on July 9 and July 8, 2025, respectively.
Due to personal reasons, Mr. Tsang Kin-ping has requested to resign from his positions as Chairman and Council Member of RDHK, while Mr. Leung Chat-kan has requested to resign from his roles as Honorary Treasurer and Council Member of RDHK.
Following their departure, the number of members on the RDHK Council remains in compliance with the requirements of the Companies Ordinance and the Articles of Association.
In light of the vacancy in the presidency, the Council has activated a mechanism for replacement. Ms. Rebecca Yuen, the Vice Chairman for Internal Affairs, will temporarily assume the role of Chairman. In addition, a special general meeting will be convened shortly to arrange for the election of new Council Members and other related matters.
The Council would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Tsang Kin-ping and Mr. Leung Chat-kan for their invaluable contributions during their tenure.
