Rare Disease Hong Kong (RDHK), established in 2014, has been dedicated to promoting public awareness of rare diseases, supporting patients, and advocating for rare diseases policy. Through these efforts, RDHK strives to foster social inclusion and improve the quality of life for individuals affected by rare diseases. The organization has received widespread recognition and support from various sectors of society.

In light of the current suspension of RDHK’s bank account transactions, the Council has conducted a thorough assessment and concluded that it would be inappropriate to organize large-scale events at this time. Consequently, the Annual Symposium originally scheduled for November this year will be postponed. This announcement is made to ensure transparency in event arrangements and to inform stakeholders and members in a timely manner.

RDHK sincerely appreciates the continued support and encouragement from all sectors of society. RDHK will remain committed to resuming related activities at an appropriate time, working hand in hand with the community to advance the cause of rare diseases.
