Rare Disease Hong Kong (RDHK) announces that Mr. Lai Ka-wai, Terry assumed the role of Acting Chairman, effective from 25 July, and that Ms. Yuen Pui-ling, Rebecca has been transitioned to Honorary Chief Executive focusing on overseeing administrative matters following the departure of RDHK’s Director of Operations, Ms. Ho Chui-mei, May until normal operations are resumed.

For the purpose of enhancing corporate governance and restructuring internal financial operations, a Special Task Force was established on 1 July. The Task Force is chaired by RDHK Advisor Dr. Luk Che-chung, with Mr. Stanley M. H. Wong (Solicitor and Certified Public Accountant) and Mr. Yeung Wan-Fung, Martin (Solicitor) appointed as consultants to provide professional guidance and advice.
