The 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Tea Gathering was held on June 15, 2024. Like last year, the weather was rainy. But it didn't deter our members from joining the event. A total of 70 people attended the AGM.

Since its establishment in 2014, RDHK has entered its 10th year, but why is this year's AMG is only the fifth one? It was because RDHK was formerly known as "Hong Kong Alliance for Rare Disease" (HKARD) and registered as a society. In Jan 2020, RDHK completed the registration procedures for changing to a limited company and was officially renamed as "Rare Disease Hong Kong Limited" on 1 Jun 2020. Therefore, the first AGM after being registered as a limited company was held on 30 May 2020, in which the first Council of RDHK was elected.  

All the agendas of the meeting were approved and the 11 candidates for the election of the third RDHK Council were also successfully elected.  Please click here for the updated member list of the Council.

Before the tea gathering, all the members were invited to play a quiz game in which questions about RDHK were asked, through which the new members could learn more about the basic information of RDHK. 

Thanks to all the members present in the AGM, as well as the volunteers who helped to set the venue, serve food and record the scores of the quiz game.
